Installed power for two 600Amp 15 KV Gantry Cranes for the Port of Tampa. This involved refurbishing a 15KV 2000amp switchgear with new breakers and controls. Installed new conduit and 15KV cable from the switchgear to the Gantry Crane pit. New 600amp 15KV terminations in the switchgear and Gantry pit. The Gantry Pit is where the Gantry Crane Bologna cable ties in from the crane. This cable includes power and communications for the crane. Work also included installing a new conduit and fiber backbone system for the Gantry communications system. Work took approximately 4 months to complete.
