The Nemours Children’s Hospital is a 550,000 square foot hospital located in Orlando, Florida. This building is a $397,000,000.00 state of the art facility with a pediatric health campus that offers family-centered specialty care and education. This hospital is the only children’s hospital in the region with true academic mission. Nemours opened its doors, and began accepting patients on October 22, 2012.

Borrell Electric performed all electrical work including all Medium voltage wiring and equipment. 3-D BIM coordination was used for all above ceiling and in-wall rough-in.  The electrical contract value for this new facility was approximately $15,000,000.00. At the peak of construction, 130 electricians and helps partook in executing the electrical scope. Borrell Electric Co., Inc. successfully completed the electrical service for Nemours Children’s Hospital in October, 2012.
